Lee Martin is a researcher in the area of international management. Her research focuses on how multicultural individuals think and act in the workplace, with the aim of helping individuals and organizations understand how to realize the potential of multicultural employees. Lee’s research appears in international journals and has received multiple award nominations from the Academy of Management. She has presented at conferences in Canada, the United States, Japan, and Australia, and has lectured at universities on the topic of culture and multicultural individuals.
Lee holds a Masters in Asia-Pacific Studies and is currently completing her PhD degree in Management at UNSW Sydney in Australia. She has been a Visiting Fellow to Simon Fraser University, Canada and Singapore Management University. Previously, Lee worked as an adviser in the Australian government for a number of years and co-founded a language training company in China. Her experiences in multicultural settings prompted her current research interest in how organizations can leverage a culturally diverse workforce to succeed in today’s globalized environment.
